Yes, vets made the 450's popular by couching it through the local track and romping on the throttle out of turns and on the face of jumps. I can do the same thing on my rm250 but it's not the right way to ride or race. Watch a pro national race. They will run WOT into the turn and back out of it. If your son wants to race moto then get him a 125 so he can learn to use the clutch and control high speed power. If he wants to cruise the pines and sand washes then go get him a wr.</blockquote>
