:FU: Would you believe me if I said the Antelope Valley has a generally conservative mindset? I'm serious. Right here in CA. It's not all pot smokers and eco-commies... For those that believe everything the media tells them, California Senate Bill 1453 only really makes provisions for investigating such a program between now and 2013. I don't really see these e-plates catching on anyway, at least not soon. Aside from needing special installation of some kind, it sounds like it would require at least some infrastructure to communicate with the electronics to change what is displayed. Then throw in durability, effectiveness, etc, and it sounds like a desperate, if not ineffective way to generate revenue. I absolutely HATE those animated billboards, especially at night. I'm looking at you, Rosamond and Lancaster Fairgrounds! Also, if you want a face to blame this proposed bill on, click here
