Dirt nap story...of my own...I've got a few, already shared the flying Husky one...(brother's bike, result = bad news)...Anyways while riding at the same place (Butterfield Ranch bike park East of Temecula almost to Aguanga,). Riding my 73 Zook TM125...racing my buddies (as always) now the place is desert terrain with a fence around it with a wash going thru it close to the entrance/exit gates...it parallels the wire (not barbed thank god) fence. USUALLY we all slow down and creep up thru the wash when were done...NOT THIS TIME, I was determined to beat this guy so I stayed on it, passed him shortly before the wash thinking I knew I could do it....I slammed on the back skids, I went down into the wash, up the other side of the wash and headed towards the fence and thinking "this aint gonna be pirdy". I wound up hitting the fence just to the side of a "T" stake. I stopped immediately...should I say THE BIKE stopped immediately and I kept going...rolling over the bars, bouncing off the front tire landing on my butt...and sliding about 10 feet. The guy running the place runs over to see if I'm alright, I shake it off, stand up and say I yeah, he comes back with DAMN, I sure wish I had my recorder that was awesome...As for my "BUDDIES"...they all sat on their bikes watched the whole thing happen, laughed at me before and after finding out I was OK. WHAT A RIDE! :ride:
