I guess it learnt me to work for what I want and set me up for my apprenticeship after leaving School. Not sure if I could have done better if my parents would have helped me or not. Even getting to the race tracks seen me up at daybreak with a backpack riding from home to the tracks, and a ride home again until I was old enough to get a license and trailer the bikes.
