Just the increased speed makes a big difference with my truck because of the gearing. I drive a 2000 Dodge Dakota with the 4.7L, and since it has the towing package it has a 3.93 rear axle. Even when not towing, I get 21-22 mpg at 55, 19-20 at 65, and 16-17 at 75.
