I try to keep it at 65 max with the popup trailer in tow, small wheels.  however, I have checked the speedo and oops 80.  Last weekend I thought I was gonna get a ticket coming back from Cal City.  I noticed a cop sitting on the other side of the divided highway between mojave and rosamond, looked at my speedo and was doing 75.  I slowed down to 60.  watching him in my rear view,  he pulled out, I further slowed to 55, he whipped a u turn in the center dirt area, and then stopped. wheew.
