Hang on, I never said not to carry it, I also believe in being prepared.  I was just saying that I personally do not open carry and make every effort to keep it concealed. There are very few situations that can't be talked out of and the game changes once a gun appears.

 

If I would've been that guy with the shotty and two guys (on my property) started reaching for weapons, I wouldn't be lowering it.........
