Definitely worth a try, and will probably work.:thumb: I rode for nearly two seasons with JB Welded side case before it finally got welded. It was a campsite repair job that would've lasted forever. The only reason I got it welded was because the motor was torn apart to replace the crank. I have a buddy at work who got an '09 KLX 450 from one of his friends who had to sell it after only one time out on the bike. After my buddy gets it, the case halves start to leak. A practically brand new bike with leaking cases. Must be a Kawasaki thing :smirk: Anyway, my buddy doesn't want to take the bike apart to fix it. And, he doesn't want to live with the leak either. So he drains the oil, hangs the bike upside down from the garage rafters for a month, then JB Welds the center seam. The bike is back in use and doesn't leak. Just glue it. :ride:
