I do the same thing also. I dont highlite a map because :prof:I will NOT ride the forest alone. But I will ride all of Gorman alone, Rowher and property near my friends ranch off Hwy. 138. Oh and away from camp in the desert sometimes. I also tell my Husband what trails Im on and I check in with him every two hours or so. Honestly, if he didnt hear from me after two hours I could simply be broken down and out of cell range. I also tell him details of who Im riding with when it is someone new, like bajataxi. I say where were parked at...his name is ...he drives a....lic plate#....he lives in....his number is....and on dirt bike addicts his screen name is...and then i pack my trusty pistol and freshen up on my martial art moves. Good thing about Gorman (the park) is almost everywhere I get signal except when tucked down in the ravines. But not in the forest, not much singal at all! The head ons at Gorman suck. I got in one riding alone weekday. Luckily I didnt get a scratch but my bike....Flatlander radiator guard twisted, disc guard cracked and bracket that is welded to the frame that mounts the radiator is buckled for life. It was some IMPACT! Collided with a CR500 in a good place because both of us were in 3rd gear. The impact sent me flying, luckily landing just fine. I had to use wire and a rubber gromet to rig it and that is how it is now anf probably for life:smirk: Cliff is fast and on a KTM 450 but doesnt have a son. Ya...we should ride sometime! :thumb:
