Remember that the ice expansion puts force on the entire pipe, not just the dent. The danger is splitting a seam in another place or just bending the it so it will not fit back on the bike. You first cycle looks good. Don't over do it trying to get the dent out 100%. You can make Crème brûlée with an acetylene torch, but flame control is at a premium.
