Glad you are alright (so far) and make sure you follow up with your doctor to get officially cleared to ride again.

 

Boots and helmets in my mind are the most important and should not be skimped on. You race D38 desert and hit some high speeds, you are likely to have another get off at high speeds. I was a regular on the D37 desert scene years ago and had a couple 5th gear tapped get offs :shocked:. I have broke a few toes playing soccer in the rock gardens as well. When you race, boots and helmets should be replaced on a regular basis.
