Maybe, no idea. I do have a 91 kx80 with the original topend and clutch in it and an estimated 1800 hrs...it's only ever seen silkolene.... Tho that can happen with any quality oil I presume. I think my kx250 has 5 rebuilds on the top end.... Maybe I'll tear it down this time and need a replate...who knows
