some of those street people are the most interesting folk to talk to. when i was younger i was pretty much a street skater so i was on ground zero so to speak. you eventually meet and get to know some of the bums. In Escondido there was a lady who lived on the streets but rumor was she was rich. i talked to her and she nev er told me she was a millionair like the rumors but she said that she is financially ok. put 3 daughters through college and has a PO box where she gets a small check once a month. she gave me 5 bucks for a pack of smokes one time. really cool lady but a bit crazy. i lived in the Tender loin of San Fransico for a month as well.. you will meet all kinds of characters there.
