He actually makes contact with dirt before he reaches the complete bottom. He picked this place because of the slope towards the bottom. I'd say it was about a 25-30' drop. More then enough to eat shit on.  I dont know where he gets the nerve to do that first jump. This spot he had been eyeing for a some time.  It was fun to take pics of him doing it.
