Well I'd like to start off by reminding readers of my sarcasm the majority of my posts. And sharing my view on "shavers" is no different. Hope I didnt offend you 2Smoke or any other "shavers" out there. Lets face it, shaving has gained in popularity with metrosexual men. That's just a fag, I mean fact:lol::P:moon: Im not ignorant about the shaving excuses, I've heard them before as I too used to be a cyclist myself so I've heard this many times. I still dont buy the reason completely. If it were THAT important they wouldnt even wear shorts to begin with. If it were THAT important the majority of competitive downhill Mt. bikers would do it. They crash more often then road guys do! And there other high risk fall down sports that most dont shave for. Seriously, skaters dont shave. Rock climbers dont shave. I think it is more a personal body preference, and it has gained in popularity in the cycling world. Maybe it all started when Pro cyclists discovered a milasecond was "shaved" off their time in a race. I personally think it is more trend related then anything. I think there is a large group of men who love to be smooth and this gives them a good excuse to shave and wear their smooth legs proudly. I find a man more attractive with hair on his legs because to me it is more of a natural man thing to have. Im not saying you arnt manly 2smoke. It is sort of like some may judge me on dressing in jeans and Tee shirts a lot as being dude"ish," maybe appearing not feminine enough for some people's taste. Or, perhaps if I had a short, boyish haircut it would turn some off. Many dont care for women with boyish looks and some do. Just as some women dont care for men in spandex with smooth, oiled legs:D No right or wrong with the shave thing. Just MY observation in the cyclist world. Peace:cheers:
