Well, if your talking bone stock and a 350 leaned out motor, might be spliting hairs. Now if you were to do what most people do and open them up, get the more agressive mapping, etc....mileage will certainly suffer. To each his own, my normal desert riding is an all day affair with 100-120 mile loops. The less electronics the better when I am 50 miles out in the middle of no where in a canyon that getting towed out of might be a big issue. Kennedy Meadows is another place that is an issue. Again. Not saying they will fail. I have just never had an issue with my carb and I wouldn't expect to. Before long, we won't have an option as even now the newer WR450 is efi'd so this conversation will be mute in a couple of years
