Pismo is year round red sticker and as far as the camping it's pull anywhere... Just make sure your high enough for high tide. No reservations are needed except on big weekends.As for paddles you don't really need them just run 6 & 6 in your tires and you'll float all over. All you need is a flag, which you can get there, for your bike and truck if you want to drive it in the dunes. I don't know if you've had dune experiance or not but I've been driving them since I was 6 so if your fam wants to ride I can take them around in my truck and scare them more than any rollar coaster
