I didn't have a tree stand so we use the biggest cooking pot we had and filled with gravel around the tree from the driveway and it still wouldn't stand up. So I had to tie thread around the top of the tree and tie it to the wall so it wouldn't fall over. Man that was a bad year.. luckily my son was so young at the time he didn't know what was what so we re-wrapped some of his toys up so he would have something to tear into on Christmas. That's was hard times.</p></blockquote><p></p>
