The E-Z Outs are pretty cheap and should easily be found at any tool store, maybe even Sears. They have a reverse twist to them so that they bite into the bolt as it is turned to be removed. You can try using the drill bit, but drill steel is rather brittle and will likely break. If the head of the stripped bolt is exposed , then you could try grinding flats on the outside to get a wrench on it. You can get more torque with a wrench than by grinding a slot and using a screwdriver.
