Finally got back to the track today. Damn that was much needed! Brought the kids 125, and the kx250. Started on the 125, and I think I'm gonna start doing this from now on. A good bike to warm up on, but switching back and forth started to get kinda weird after a few hours. The new spring and shock rebuild on the KX is a huge improvement, but I had the sag way off at first and it wouldn't turn. Finally got it dialed in and I'm enjoying the bike, but it's pretty stiff. I've got all the adjustments set in the middle right now. It still has the head wobble, but I'm thinking that might be operator error cuz I had another guy with a KX450 ride it and he said he didn't notice it. But I rode well and was able to get fairly aggressive. I think the new track layout helps; its a lot more technical and fun. Plus it's got a couple right-hand uphills that I've never done before. It doesn't wear me out as much either. I feel like my cornering is better with the 4T, but I definitely think I need to learn to use the rear brake better. And while I like the KX, I think I'm gonna sell it and look for a newer 4T 250. Something that turns better. Not a bad day considering I've only been to the track 4-5 times in 6 months, and I'm gonna make it to work tomorrow :banana::banana:.
