[QUOTE="johnrunner, post: 141899, member: 925"] Yea I read from others online too that they find themselves wearing MX helmets with goggles unless it's raining or in the winter. But for us here in SoCal, it can be 80 in winter so I guess the MX style helmet is the way to go. I got a set of new plastics all around for the bike and factory graphics. Also got new tires, tubes, air filters, oil filter kit (fuel filters, oil filter, oil screen, o-rings etc.) and a minor performance upgrade  When my bro get's his new bike next month, mine will look new too :P:lol: In all reality, next week marks the one year anniversary of getting my bike. And I've learned more on this bike in the first few months on it then I did in nearly 2 years on the YZ250. I think you can attest to that since you've ridden with me with both bikes these last couple years and don't have to stop every 10yds from me tipping over :smirk: But as a result of all the learning and improving I did on this bike, it surely took its spills. Now I see why when I first bought the bike, some people said to take off the factory plastics and put on cheap ones as they are going to get ruined. But today I went ahead and gave my scooter a wash. It is actually not as bad as I thought, so I might hang on to the goodies and give the plastics a few more rides. Here's a shot of today after the wash, the picture doesn't do the deep scratches and wear justice as I assure you it's a lot worse in person lol And as this is the "what did you do to your bike today" thread, I also gave my bike a ride around town utilized the plate. Sure felt good getting out there and stretching it's legs, even if it is only on pavement.
