Message: <blockquote data-quote="TurtleShifter" data-source="post: 160847" data-attributes="member: 217">That's where the "smart" money is.  I just can't seem to go there.  I generally do the 10 year rotation.  5 year loan, replacing the older vehicle once the newer one's loan is paid off.  Kinda like having just 1 car payment at a time.Was gonna try and figure out if it would make sense to just lease both vehicles and replace them both after 3 years.  Maybe the combined payments would be a little higher than the 1, but you would be driving at the most, a 3 year old car/truck.  Haven't spent the time to see if it would pencil out.  You still need to be a good price negotiator to get the price down.</blockquote>
