Snowflake.... Your truck in sense is a 03..... Most people even ford most of the time think a 04 is a 04-08...And that only a 97-03 .... Which in fact the 04 "HERITAGE" is a 97-03 body style.... Not a 04-08.... So anything you find saying it was fixed from 04+ , doesn't have anything to do with your truck.Any kind of electrical problems you have i would start at the GEM and Fuse box... Check for corrosion. .. Also check your underhood fuse box for corrosion on the relays. You could have a sticky relay.Make sure you don't have any LED brake lights... Make sure all your brake lights work, Even the cab mounted one. Sometimes if they ain't working or have LED's it will screw with the cruise control.
