I have never had a bottom end failure while running the manufacture recommended premix ratio. Way back on the way back machine 30 something years ago when my dad got us into dirt bikes we only ran Blendzall products for premix. I dont recall what we used in the gear box. But anyway......... I have ruined many a cylinder and or crank bearing from deviating from the manufactures premix ratio. But that was because I was young and dumb and dad was footing the bill. When dad lost interest and I had to start paying for may own parts and maintenance I realized that doing what the manual stated was the best way to go. When I finally learned that you adjust the jetting and not the premix ratio to get what your looking for Ive never had any crank bearing issues or cylinder issues there after.Now 2stokesteve89, Your an adult and responsible for your own actions with what you do or do not do. If it works for you I say go for it. But the manufactures have engineers that figure out what to use and how much to use to get the best performance from their machines. I figure they are way smarter than I am so its best to do what that manual states in my opinion. Thats all I got on this topic.
