Totally plugged exhaust so I took it apart for cleaning.
Pipe full of black transmission oil.

Hey I know a guy that has a heated parts cleaner tank that will clen that right up!

New airfilter cage. From a 4T... has a backfire screen. Oh well.









New killswitch installed.





Soaked the spark arrestor portion of the muffler in fuel overnight and blew it out in the parts wash.


Slapped her back together.





Put her all back together and final adjustments and ready for the dez. Dad has the grips/barkbusters at his house.

Looks like it came together nicely.

I would cut the backfire screen out of the filter cage so it can flow better.

i watched the kill switch work perfectly

i was really suprised at how well dan was mashing through whoops on this bike tho. we hit some at close to 50 mph

Kill switch on the throttle side??? Humm thats diff!!

He rides his valkarie mostly, (just rolled over 100K miles), and the kill switch is on the throttle side.
I figured Dad would like to keep the motorcycles in his life fairly congruent, as far as controls are concerned. -BIG DAN

never has been on any of the 12 bikes I have owned. must be that you have a e-button or that it is a KTM thing. Go look at that honda you have and if it has a kill switch, tell me what side its on.

All my XR's, XL's, the Beta and eery street bike I've ever owned had kill switches on the right side. A kill switch on the left is a dirt bike only thing.

Not just dirt-bike thing, my utility four wheeler is on the left as wheel but Harley is on the right must be a flavor of the week on which side it's on

So back to the bike. Has pops rode it yet?
