Is anyone watching the rerun of the race like me?
Only if Melcom rode like that more often. He would be a contender for sure. I can not wait for him to get on the big bike.
After watching the 450 races again today. I can not help but to think Ryan Villopoto is either injurred or has somkinda of sickness. Its like he is hideing something.
In the podium pictures his face looks defeated and unhappy
Like I said, I think he knows this isn't going to be an easy one. A couple of other guys really stepped it up
From what I understand, RV has an injury to his hand that will never get better. A few years back he broke his wrist and didn't deal with it correctly. The scaphoid (aka navicular) bone in his left hand was fractured and did not heal. That particular bone has a poor blood supply and it can be lost in the injury resulting in the bone dying. It results in a progressive arthritis.
In the last year RV has had a few get offs that started with him losing grip on his left hand. He just has not had his normal overwhelming speed that no one could match. I used to be that no one would pass RV. This year he has been passed on more than one occasion.
That said RV seemed slower in this race than normal. I would not be surprised if he was sick.
What about Dungy. No more Mr Nice guy from him.
