My rear on my xr650r still has not fully set after 400 miles. It was terrible at 1st, no matter what I did. As I rode it at low and high pressures it corrected its self somewhat.odd enough... get the BFH!!!
I actually have used heavy rubber mallets to set beads before.
Thats what I did, a bunch of wd-40 and 2lbsLet the air out, Squirt some STP downdare and throw the Oxygen to it
I couldn't tell if the rim had a rim lock on it.. I had that happen to me once yeeeeeaaaars ago when I installed the tire and one side got (some how Palmer, I know you're going to have some kind of remark... ) tucked under the lock a little too far causing it to "wobble"... caught it after I mounted the rim/tire back on the bike but before I rode it.
