I got the amzoil 10w-40 to use on both sides I think that will be ok

Yeah. That motor is good in pickups bread trucks class 6 trucks and you can get 300 plus that goes a long time in offshore. One if my 14 liters has right at 1 million on the crankshaft.

It's fine. Just get what you like as far as shifting and clutch action

On some bikes it doesn't seem to matter. Others are more fussy. If you ride it and like it right away go with it. If it seems sticky or notchy try something else on the next change.
