this is becoming very frustrating :mmph:
That IS very frustrating...
I know how you feel.

If you know someone who is skilled with an extractor, they might have one shot at it. It would have to be best case scenario for me to even attempt it.
Otherwise, you might need to take it to a shop and have them remove the broken stud.
Good luck mate. -BIG DAN:thumb:

If you doubt the spark being consistent clean the coil grounds and do a resistance test. So far your answers and lack of description of how you did something (if you cleaned the carburetor the third time like you cleaned it the first two times, expect the same result) have me wondering.

The spark plug caps go bad as well. Resistance tests show that. A 15 dollar multi meter should be in everyone' s shop.

We ALL know frustration. It can be a good "teacher".

I'm not sure how else there is to clean the carb.. I've completely taken it off the bike opened it up, sprayed every little jet I could find until i saw the fluid coming out at another side. Maybe I should search for a video on youtube..

Sounds to me like you made that carb your bitch. Attack the electrical problem like all are telling you. Plug wire ends, kill switch, ohms, yada yada yada.:noidea:

Ditto on the electrical tests. A manual generally trumps a video for me. If I can't get one I go to bikebandit.com and look at the parts schematic. I don't have much confidence in spray cleaners. Use a cleaner where you submerge the dis assembled body and use something like a welding tip cleaner to clear the passages. You hear a lot about damaging jets with such things as wire taken from a brush or frayed control cable, but I have never seen it. SeaFoam is a good product. Keep it in something airtight and reuse it

Since you are casting doubt on your spark, concentrate on that. Grounds, caps etc. think sandpaper. Clipping the cable end, and a new under 5 dollar cap. Auto parts stores probably have similar ones to what you have on there.

Good set of drill bits and a heli coil kit......1/2hour job tops

I have reasonable luck with reverse drill bits. If you buy good ones you can lean on, heat the object before you start drilling/extracting I think I am way over 50%. If it doesnt come out you still have your hole drilled and you are on to the next step.

That works too, my left handed set was 200 bucks, heli coil set is cheaper, but as far as heating I don't do that until im done drilling, it hardens the material your working on, but that bolt is very accessible so shouldn't be a problem.

I have good luck on the heat when it is an aluminum part that it is broken off in, and dang, if you can harden one with a propane torch or a heat gun you got me beat by miles in metalurgical skills!!

never for using on a piece of aluminum. cant see why it would be needed or why the bolt should be hot. the only way a stud or bolt is going to get heated when i am taking one out is if i weld a nut onto it.

That's why I drill first and use heat as last resort, usually i can breath on the work and get it as warm as propane( exageration), but I am comfortable with my way. But if the bolt/material gets outa there and the threads are restored, it don't matter how, but to each there own I say.

yep, you just do what works for you. not everyone has the same set of skills so what is handy for one is difficult for another. for me on anything from about 3/16 to 1 inch if i heat the parent material before i start drilling with the reverse bit, it just has a tendency to back out easier. so you never get to the easy outs and helicoils.
