What is the recomended tire pressure for desert riding? Does it change with the choice of tire you use?
It varies from rider to rider.
On the WR500,
I run Ultra Heavy Duty tubes to prevent flats. Never had a flat except a huge nail I got 2 rides ago.
I use Maxxis Tires and run 8-9Psi front and rear.
Right now, I have 9 psi in the front and 8 psi in the rear of my Pirelli Scorpion PRO FIMs
LOVE IT!
On the KDX200,
Maxxis Desert ITs
My brother likes 12 PSI front and rear.

I run 15-16 in the dez.It varies from rider to rider.
