Yup,

I had an XR400 that NEVER broke down. Now I have a KTM 300 that is rather......... finicky. Heck of a lot faster, able to flick around much easier, but always needing to be tweaked. :shocked:

I apologize in advance because I'm going to lead your thread even more astray.

I will not be within 400 miles of Downieville on that weekend. However on Saturday September 25th I'd love to hit Downieville for a ride. I'm headed out for a week in the north state visiting my wife's folks in Sonora on the weekend of the 18th. Some time during the week we will head on over to my folks place in Sacramento. I think I can ride most any day actually, but I can reserve the 25th as a weekend day to ride. So what do you say?


References? Rode up Horse Cyn with Eldorado650 and Silverlakerider last year.

Hey Krack lets ride on Sept 18th. My wife is doing a craft fair that day and I need to be far away.

Carl - let me know when you are up my way. I have a plated bike now - opened up a lot of other rides. A tour in September - weekend or week day - your choice. If you can hand going up Horse - I have some other really good stuff.

cigs make the whole healing process take longer and your bones dont heal as strong. My mother is a lifer when it comes to ciggs and when she was younger(before i was born) a drunk hit the harley she was on the back of throwing her 50 yards into a telephone pole. the dr's said she had 1% chance to ever walk. she walked without any aid my entire life but now its all catching up with her. fused ankle and knee issues but when she had to have some of those surgerys recently the dr's told her its detrimental that she do not smoke. She did anyway and is still dealing with those issues :(

Oh, I see. Wow! your poor Mom. My Mom chain smokes and drinks. Lost both her breast to cancer and she still doesnt excercise, still smokes and drinks...go figure.
