no, kawi offers way better support than ktm does, and its way eiser to make it onto factory kawisaki, then factory ktm. Hmm kawisiki is the gateway drug of the motorcycle world, ill also have a kx500, and im not buying a 2012 450 im going to buy an ex gnc (national) Flattracker

A cr500 is tempting, my mentor who talked me out of the ktms used to have a 72hp cr500 that clocked 129 mph at the adaleano gp back when destry abbott was riding a kx500. He would pass him in the straights and he would be like WTF, then destry would eat him in the whops. But he also explained how its a bad idea to run a 72 hp cr500. Some years it would be GREAT other years it would blow up at every other race. he beat eddie mulder on a xr750 at the sacramento mile on it but it had so much power you had to pitch it sideways in the corner and ride it WFO the whole race.
