I finally succumbed and put down my beloved Cheyenne today.Here's to the bestest dog in the whole wide world. A lot of tears have been shed, and you'll be sorely missed.
I feel ya timo, I put my lab of 16yrs down earlier this year. It's a tough one to deal with for sure. I am thinkin about ya bud!

Mine was just 2 months short of 16. We were thinking she was going to go forever, then she stopped eating and waggging her tail on Monday, and I couldn't take it anymore.
Sorry for your loss Tim, I know how hard it is to lose a pet. She's running around happy now pain free in doggy heaven.

At least you were with her to the end. I'm sure she knew it as she went in peace and not in fear. This is a good poem I read after having to put my best friend down, maybe you'll like it.
