Except for the underthe jaw padding they seemed to fit the same.. I considered the "Day in the Dirt" / Long Live Steve McQueen" one but I believe you have that one right? The TLD Piston one is nice too.

Correct I have the "Day in the Dirt" Lid. I just pulled all the lining out and washed them and waxed my lid on Sat.

This is what Im rocking for a skid lid. Hand laid carbon fiber. Bought it as a close out. Its light. DOT AMA/FIM approved.

Love my V3. I love the 6D and Shoeis too. My next lid will be a 6D

I get the HJC helmets and replace them every 3 years or after a skid on the lid, what ever comes first. I have the Shoie Hornet DS lid for Tarmac sprints but since I don't have the SM610 anymore it just sits around. Maybe I should start using it.
