Sold it for $2500 in 2005
I could probably get 5-6K for it the way I sold it, Today. Was not in great condition, and I had twisted it in half, fenders were rusting a bit.

The blue barracuda was a 10 second car that was built in the same shop I built the nova.
Big block 440 and dual carburetor tunnel ram sticking a foot out of the hood.
Pulled wheelies all day on the micky thompsons.

Mine was a 73 , unfortunatly was also my family and work car. Built a 355 vette cammed , all stock chevy parts . Flat top piston , hyd.lifter , quadrajet . Ram horn exaust , tied to a 350 short tail trans. HR 78 rear tires , 10 bolt rear end . Still ran 13 sec 1/4 mi. Had to trade it off for a work truck .... 3 yrs. Later got hooked up with a 67 Nove ss. For $ 350. Built same basic engine , only bored out to .040 358cu. Got into low 12's also a street daily driver .. then collected a 66 4 door w , 6 cyl . Powerglide . Just a cruiser . Shure do miss those ... no photos , dammit ....

I had a boat once.
67 Ford Galaxy hardtop w/390, bought off original owner with 67K on it. That thing was just a cruiser on the freeway to the beach and back. Headliner blew out of it on my wife blocking her view with kids in the back on the freeway and she was so pissed she told me to sell it over getting a new liner. I drove it for a few years without, she wouldn't and already had to many vehicles (4-5) so I let it go, still wished I didn't.
Now every time we argue about getting rid of something she says to put it in the back seat of the galaxy. Somehow I think the back seat of the that galaxy is as big as the galaxy.

no photos , dammit ....
Me either. Had a few hot rods in the 80"s which would logistically be impossible to still have today given my nomadic nature. I have a photo of a fkn egg and cheese biscuit on my phone, but not a single shot of my '69 el Camino, or 70 Camaro or 65 Chevelle...
Just imagine a bright red elkie with a 396, Muncie 4 spd, deep dish slotted rims, traction bars and street slicks. I popped wheelies in that beast.

:pout:

Most people dont fully grasp how fast a 12 second car is.
I had a 78 Nova with what I thought was a 305 in it. I took the 305 out, put some rebuilt at the local vo-tech heads on it, and stuck it in my 77 Monza, only to find out at the DMV that it wasn't a 305, but a 72 400. I spent an entire summer building that car, with custom motor mounts, custom exhaust, had to weld a notch in the oil pan for the steering arm...
I twisted the frame on that Monza too. The Monzarati I called it.
Good times.

The story With it was he imported it in 2016 from MN and garaged it for 2 years, sent it away to a specialist for new mopar and rebuild 1 year ago and he only just got it back today! :thumb: Saw it a supermarket fuel station and immediately jumped out of my Vito for a pic for on here and his only request was I didn't show the plate!
What a fekin roar from that motor :hail:as I walked by the back end of it to move my abandoned Vito.
After talking to him about the fuel on offer in this station he took off in search of some 99 Ron! Hope he made it to the next station :smirk:
I told him I didn't need to know how much £££££'s he had in it and his reply was its insured for £70k, what do you reckon it's worth at home nowadays?
He also mentioned you guys have been bringing them home again due to a lack of fresh finds :USA:
