New ride!

I say put it second gear at the gate :thumb: from my understanding 85 cc up you take off in second, your boot in front of the gear shfter and after take off use your heal on the way up to the pegs to shift to third. But I am not racer :noidea: someone with race experiance should be handing this advice out not me :smirk:

With him!

It is AX, if you have a slightly larger rear sprocket that will help alot. Also, in those facilities the lighting is not the best either, so make sure you have a good pair of goggles, I'm taking to running orange lenses :thumb: Also, if you've never raced, it's all a mental thing. Always keep your mind strong and have fun, don't expect to finish first! Ride smart and make clean passes, get a good start and a good light breakfast of protiens and fresh fruit. The jitters and constant movement messes with your stomach, so give proper digestion time and stay healthy and light. Breakfast feels better in your stomach and off your jersey. Last have fun! :thumb:

heres some pics of the bike. with me attached.

i may be slow, but atleast i look fast in the pictures :D

DBA decals are too expensive for my budget:(

And AX is Saturday... I'm getting nervous. But mx definitely takes more strength than I thought. Ive never been this sore in this many places before. I think I used muscles I didn't even know I have. Or maybe I don't have them. Either way I hurt:prof:

Remember, at the starting gate you put it in first, rev super high and when the gate drops pop the clutch and pull up.
:facepalm:

:lol: Why do you think I don't post videos? I have enough trouble attempting to make myself look fast in pictures. :pout:

:lol::cry::lol:

People (non-riders) say it's easy, until they've done it themselves that is. :bonk:

So true, Even if your just ride trails you don't completely understand how physically demanding and challenging MX is until you do it

I'm not gonna go too off topic and rant out on this(though it seems like every thread here does that eventually:lol:)

But I found a great post on tt a couple months ago that essentially said, mxers shouldn't put down or think less of trail riders and vice versa because both require skills, training, and physical characteristics that one may have and the other doesn't.

And if you say trail ridings easy than you've never ridden good trail:smirk:
