Started scraping the sludge off the frame today. Gonna have to pull the trans and transfer case out to get to everything i need to paint.

Also picked up this 4sp that my dad had laying around. Might swap it later on down the road

i still think i'm under 1500 and i've only been working like 10 hours a week so time is not an issue. 1500 woulden't buy the fuel pump on a diesel

Frame is coming along nicely. Pulled the mid shaft and front shaft out of the T-case. Hopefully i can grab an engine hoist for a few days so i can pull the tranny and t-case, clean them up, and paint the frame underneath while they are out

tranny and t-case are cleaned up. My dad gave me his hoist :win:. Frame is degreased finally, it took 3 days with a scraper, a redneck hot pressure washer, 2 cans of oven cleaner, and a gallon of purple power but its ready to wire wheel. Now im working on a patch for one of the body mounts

heat sheild cleaned up nice for being covered in an inch of tar:

The frame is getting boxed where the steering box mounts because these trucks like to crack there. Leaf springs mounts looked aight but i'll go over them again
