I'm not saying they were bad bikes
But, even being a guy who prefers 4 strokes, think about what we could have if they had poured a little more into the 2t side, I don't think they hit the limit of what they can do with the 2 stroke motor.......
I hear ya, I think that's a big reason why I don't really like the 4 stroke. they came in and took everything over pretty much made the 2t obsolete.... Im sure thumpers are way nice (I have ridden a few KXF450s) but to me nothing matches that premix smell and a rapped out powerband. I really wish they would have spent more time perfecting the 2t. Seems like even Yami and KTMs 2ts aren't what they could be if they spent as much time on them as they did 4 strokes.
