Are there any diesel boys out there? Got this out of a CAT dozer (D9?) I'm not much on diesels, I UNBOLTED what looked like a small valve from the piston head where the hole is now. Just wondering if anyone knew what this "valve" is for? It can't move in or out if it's bolted down so what does it do?

Yeah, but it is NOT a valve. Closer to being a sparkplug.
