now that i think about it i should have made the frame a bit lower so the sky is not in the pic and also palmers foot in bottom left dont help either... or am i wrong? i dont know how i would have got the transparancy if i did a different color bg in the roost.

yeah... make the bottom of the pic stay on the bottom... it's kinda a big pic to do it with but should look good. You can still have the roost coming out the back though like on that video i showed you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LbUgltl9DgM

I'd agree that the background should be a different color, however the roost will look really weird as it'll still have a blue background.

IMO That picture would look much better if Palmer and his "air biscuit" () weren't in the picture.
