.........Post it!!
I bought a 1979 F150 with a flatbed. Body is in great condition. I paid $1100 for it and the body + flatbed is well worth that. Rebuilt 351 and auto tranny with 70,000 miles on it. It's a pretty sweet truck with tons of potential.
I ice skated in the car for about 10 miles to get off my mountain this AM. 4 inches of snow, lots of wind and lots of ice too.
We got some slush here and I had just bought my new truck and was driving the 1.5 hours home (me in my girlfriend's car, and my buddy driving my truck). I was leading down 460 West, and the truck starts losing traction and swerving...but it was doing that a lot and it never really let loose. Except this time. I was watching in my rear view mirror as he got sideways at 65mph, cutting across the left lane and into the grass median. The truck slid around a ton and bounced all over the place...he was lucky to keep it out of the oncoming lanes. I immediately started pulling off, and then I put my girlfriend's car into a bank. That's what happens when you give some Virginian boys some snow.
Both vehicles were perfectly fine after that, so....
My new toy hauler... How many friend's bikes do you think I can fit on that??
