we go out for sushi and sushimi... it's ok, not a lot of flavor then again, if there WAS a lot of flavor I'd probably not like it... (fishy)... give me a roll any time....

If there is no flavor, find another sushi place. And I don't mean fishy flavor either. That's generally not good either.

This looks great. I love salmon and yellowtail, 2 of the best fish out there in my book. Of course the ginger and cold Asahi fit right in as well. :prof:

The sushi place is top notch... it is a mild taste... probably just my palette... I'm guessing it is supposed to taste like that. Personally I like seasoned food... Like the seared tuna you've dione for us... I had a Tatiki (seared ahi) salad for dinner last night. loved it.

Hey, if sushi's (Japanese term) so great why did they (the Japanese) design the Hibachi??? :poke:

For me, like you, I like highly seasoned and spicy food. But sushi is different. For me it's like a really good rare filet mignon, rich in flavor. Combine that with some wasabi, chili oil, maybe some Sriracha, and soy sauce and I am in heaven. Gotta love that seared Ahi. Will do more of that in the dez that is coming VERY soon.
