I would cut off those studs coming off that bracket, looks like your asking for skin removal there.

They do make a better bar/ram mount. Mirror perch, is what I found it under. Takes the 8/10 mm threaded ram. But hey, if you are into that one with free replacement go for it. I think I picked mine up at 3bro. Like 8 bucks.
Got a picture? This has to be a stand alone mount, I think you are confusing this with the mirror mount. I already have the RAM ball mount where the mirror mount goes. That is where I attach my mirror. Same kind of setup as the GPS.
Yep, it is a stand alone mount. It's for the double take mirror system. Might not work at the fat section of fat bars.
Yeah, you would be correct as I don't believe it would work on the fat part of the bars.
I have the double take mirror system on the bike. That ball goes right where I took the old mirror out of. Works great
