it dont get better then morning rides with my son before anyone else is up.

i can almost smell the day he will be going on a big boy ride with me.

My most memorable rides have been with my kids......looks like a great time.

What kind of wood is that pat? Almost looks like a pine of some sort? Are you burning that inside?

Looks like Pine, Ponderosa in fact. Need to clean your fire place twice a year to keep it from building up. Still good enough for a little warmth but burns faster than my "HARD" wood.

Yeah that's what I was concerned about. All that sap clogs the flu. Dangerous when that sap build up catches fire. Seen it happen

Tamarack not pine. Pine sucks!

Nope, it's tamarack. Burns fast great oak starter.

Tamarak-Larix Laricina, not really a native of your area... Bark Beetle get to them? Cool looking trees for sure. Easy to split when dry... Only evergreen looking tree to loose its needles in fall.
