KTM 450's are enticing in terms of motor reliability though...

I'll take yz250 please.
For what I do, and where I go, the 300 is an amazing machine. Makes me look a hellofalotbetter than I actually am
for the desert, I haven't found something I like better than a 450.
For tight technical riding the 450 will make you work harder.
I liked the yz250 I rode through the technical, I'm sure the KTM is a fine machine, but for me the fact that a good yz250 can be had for less than 3k makes it a no brainer. Maybe one day I'll just put that aside and buy a brand new bike.
