All Ride at the REZ

There goes that word again, launch. Now you see why I was a bit
Seriouslly...I think he could have saved it from what I heard.........:smirk:.......10 feet in the air, on the seat, 5th pegged ( I added thatone)...Knevil style...Launch and burn! :ride:...

Just kidding Rolls...again, get well soon!

I am stumped. Who is the looser that the bitch is on?
Look out! The spelling bitch is on the looser! :moon:

:focus:.................Who's in for an overnighter...Sat/Sun (14th/15th) instead of just a day ride on the 14th? Having read some of the posts (tekillya, waddka, ???) I'm wondering if we should attempt a "night at the rez" with this group. I know some can't or don't want too, I'm leaning more towards staying myself...being able to ride longer on Sat......:ride: Plus may make it easier on those that are traveling farhter..PM me, post it here...whatever works...I'll figure something out!

Rez, I'm afraid that I won't be able to make it to The Ride At The Rez. That crash landing I had out at JV was worse than I had thought. In addition to a couple of bulging discs in my lower back, an MRI shows that I also have a broken vertebra in my mid back. I'm done riding till it's completely heald. I'd hoped to get a few rides in before Summer hits, but it looks like I'll have to wait till next Fall.
Damn dude, here's to a speedy recovery.

I forgot to add this one. Good thing he carries medication with him.

 You guys and your "on the ground hurt" photos, where are the 10 Fire/Ranger trucks? :smirk:
No problem with the jacking, I'm joining in on it...:foul:........:smirk:
:thumb: Good because I didn't want to intrude onto your thread. :P

Now you've done it. When the Geek shows for a over nighter with Takillya, he does things that are hard for a grown man to see. As evident from Irish Hills expression. :smirk:

Sorry to hear that, hope you heal quick. If you ever want to get out for the day to have a cool one or two, and shoot guns, let me know.

What the hell happened and when? We need the whole story please. Whatever the case, heal quickly and feel better.:prof:

So now there's double post, and spelling police in here. :smirk:

Also, the crash story is really not that spectacular.

It was so unspectacular that I can't call it a crash. I really don't know what to call it. :noidea:
I was out at JV with a couple guys from work and some of their friends. We got to the sand dunes out by Melville DL and decided to ride to the far side of the dunes and wait for the last two guys to catch up. With the sun brightly shining down on the fresh wind blown sand, I couldn't see worth a damn. The ground was bright white and kinda blurry looking, but it looked flat. I saw my guys grouped up ahead of me, so I rode straight for them. I was in third gear at only about 1/3 throttle. Just sitting down and cruisung. I didn't see the 10ft drop until my front tire went over the edge. The bike landed perfectly level and straight and should've been ridden away like it was no big deal. The only problem was that I was sitting down and my spine absorbed all the impact. The shock of pain was tremendous, and I just knew that I would be paralyzed. I was afraid to even try to move, so the bike just rolled for a little ways and fell over. The guys thought I was playing around and let me lay there awhile before coming to see if I was OK  There was no way I could ride. I couldn't even crawl, so one of the guys went and found somebody in a 4x4 truck that could get to me out in the sand. They loaded my bike in the bed of the truck and I rode all curled up on the floor in the back seat as they drove me back to my truck. They really saved my ass. I thanked them at the time, but I wish I would run into them again some day so I could thank them some more.
The total damages are 3 bulging discs in the lower back and a fractured vertebra in the mid back. Also some minor nerve damage in my lower left leg ( where the bike fell on me). They say I was lucky because the fractured vertebra has a fragment broken off that could have damaged the spinal cord. I'm still waiting to see a neuro-surgeon to know if I will need surgery.
Thanks to everybody for the kind thoughts, and I will ride with you all some day. :ride:

It's funny you mention Smiley Riley. As soon as I realized what was happening, Smiley Riley was the first thing I thought of.
