There has been some talk of a day ride on June 13 in the Sierras to the east of KTMRack's place and near the town of Bass Lake. Any takers want to join us?

Thats fine but the 007 is a closed trail I dont worry too much about miami trails checking stickers.

i dont think 007 is closed YET. now January 2011 will be a different story.

thats correct, not yet, final map has to be issued after the appeal process before any of it is closed, this is the last year to ride it

Rode up there on tuesday and Gaggs is still snowed in, but there is plenty to ride in the lower elevations if you know the trails.

Probably about the same as you. You might have another 20 minutes or so. I figure from Frazier, a little less than 3 hours as it is about 190 miles or so.
