Wellll Rode it today ... Shes good :D... Also found my new power reeds, That i forgot to put in while i had it apart.

I've had a lower end rattle when you let the clutch out. Thought it was that clutch basket bearing. Well i replaced that. And put it back together. It was quite intill today. While i was riding it got progressivly louder.. Now its really rough...

I took the oil plug out and you can see the crankgear. When i press the kick starter..I can see the crank coming up and down.

I think i hurt it awhile back when the torque wrench failed to properly torque that bolt correctly... And it spit that bolt through the crankcase. From then on out its had a little rattle when the clutch was released.


I have not split cases since i was probably 12years old. I'm not looking forward to this.

Its really easy providing you have a decent area to work in and a manual... you going to do the crank too? I would... just make sure you have everything you need for a quick turn around.

OH MY. That's no good buddy.

Trans bearings, crank bearings, all the trans and crank seals, whole engine gasket set.

Flywheel puller and rubber mallet.

Disassembly is always free! -BIG DAN

Yeah, I'm just going to read about it for a bit. I ain't starting anything till i get the other bike back together.Just waiting on parts, for the klx. (valves and flywheel puller.)

I could have spent 10 times less on any other bike. Didn't want any other bike. Still don't :noidea:

My truck is making a noise in the transmission also? Tell me how you like your toyota while your at it. :popcorn:
