A vice and an axle has worked for me longer than lots of your parents have been alive. Buchanan has been a good source of products. Especially if you are doing something nonstock.

what did you guys use before vices? Like 2 rocks or something?

Before then we did not need anything as the wheels were 8 sided as round ones came a bit later.

hahaha I would hate to put a tire on that rim Hopefully the suspension absorbed that rough ride. Or was that before the coil spring.....?

no. but if the rocks were just right, i can see how you could use them now.

Before we had the 8 sided wheels, stop signs were unnecessary. After the wheels though it became more prudent to control speed. In honor of the ones who developed those 8 sided wheels the others who decided to spoil the fun by use of stopsigns made them with 8 sides too.
