And as for expanding our horizons...I agree....I'm hoping to "host" a REZ ride sometime this spring if the job lets me...........once I weed out the hooligans.. :smirk:

@Geek...about riding before spring...I'd love to. Labor day weekend may be the last one job pending. I'd have to fit it in between Laborday and Tday...anything between Tday and new years is out for me/us...to much going on with the holidays! What would be perfect is the 1st or 2nd weekend in Feb when the KOH is going on...I'm hoping to be out there for at least the Friday race...THAT is absolutely insane and then stay the weekend to ride! :banana:

Where is Cal City...out by Edwards AF Base isn't it? how do you get there, what to look for IN THE EVENT the rez trip is cancelled I may consider coming out there.

I'd be coming up the 15 to 395...the oly thing I remember about that area is 4 corners or Kramer junction. :ride:

Left onto the 58. Right at the road to Cal city after about 21.5 miles. Stay on that road. It has a few turns and becomes 20 Mule team. Go past the prison and stop at the staging area (Borax Bills) to get your permits. From there it's not far to the exact spot.
